Profile of our founder

Sanjay Shetty is the founder, CEO of Wireless Strategist. Mr. Shetty has been a regular speaker at various industry forums across India on topics ranging from development, design, Internet enabling of business, to wireless strategies. He has been speaking at conferences ranging from India Internet World, at the IIT and various educational institutes, to Microsoft Developer Days, which he incidentally has been hosting for the past 6 years. He speaks on a monthly basis at various Microsoft MSDN events across the country and at conferences such as TechEd, PDC etc. His is also on the Content Review Council for TechEd 2003 in INDIA. Helping the community has been one of his early passisions.

He is part of the Microsoft Regional Director Program (http://www.microsoftregionaldirectors.com) since 1997, for his contribution in implementing breakthrough solutions using Microsoft Technologies. He has also been awarded the Regional Director of the month for October 1999 worldwide by Microsoft. He has now been re-selected as Microsoft Regional Director for the seventh year in succession in 2003

He is one of the founders of the Mumbai Microsoft User Group(MUG) and has currently been appointed as the INETA India Committee member responsible for growing user groups across the country. Writing being a passion he has written articles for magazines such as PCQuest as well as the online C# today a publication from Wrox Press.
